Term 3 starts as a balancing act.

The term has started with a bit of balancing and trying to land on two feet. Have a look at the videos below, of the kids and their first session of gymnastics.




Writing: The kids have been busy writing their thank you letters to sponsors of the Garden to Table programme. The next writing focus will be on persuasive writing.

Maths has taken a little bit of change for the first three weeks of the term.  We are now concentrating on Patterns and Relationships.  The students will describe growing sequential spatial and number patterns to solve problems.  This will continue for two more weeks.

SPEECHES - Sell a Book

There will be a slightly different focus to the presentation this year.  We are going to help the kids develop a speech presentation with a change.   The speech will be to carefully persuade someone to want to read a book they think is worthwhile.  In essence they will be trying to sell a book.  This come well after the student led conferences.
