Knife Skills Explanation

Knifes are very sharp man-made objects. They are very dangerous tools. Knife skills are used in the kitchen when preparing meals. There are many types of knifes in all shapes and sizes.

When you use a knife always have the sharp part of the blade facing away from the body.  If you don’t and the knife slips, then the chances of cutting yourself become higher.  

When you use a knife make sure you have parental supervision.  Never run with a knife or point a knife at someone.

All knives have different reasons to be created.  Always take care when working with knives.
