Catch Up

It is time for a catch-up.  It has been a week or two since updating the blog. There have been a number of activities in and outside of the class that have taken place.  Our release teacher was able to organise the opportunity for a SPCA dog in the class.  The kids were able to talk about how to act around dogs, and as you can see in the image below, they were able to have turns reading with the dog.  Many of the kids have participated in the Weetbix Tryathlon.  

There have been five lucky pupils, whom had the chance to take part in the Wonkey Donkey presentation.  Between these activities and a game of T-ball we have been focused on our information reports and building on our understanding of the structure and organisation of an information report.  There will more practice with these!  Our maths groups continue each day as do our reading groups. We completed our read aloud:  The Mysterious Adventures of Mabel, and we have now started a new book called The Adventures of Edward Tulane.
