Maths Rich Tasks

This week we aim to get the rotation system for maths groups up and running in the classroom.  This will include a direct teaching lesson with the teacher, a chance to use the laptops for creating graphs, practice with maths games and a number activity card to record in their maths books.  The different groups will complete this cycle every two days. 

The picture below show the type of problems that will be given to a maths group.  The problems for each group will be slightly different to help develop the different level of skills and knowledge in the class.

The focus for the maths is towards using the multiplication and division number facts as the kids solve the problems.
