This is a small example of the kids working together in groups, collaboratively. Collaboration and cooperation has been a huge improvement through the year. | | In maths we have been learning about fractions and ratios. In this little activity, the students got together in their groups, and after some discussion, they recorded what they felt they needed to understand for fractions and ratios. One such question / concept that came up was how big or small can fractions be? Another question is why are fractions always shapes? This provides the idea and the need to think about how fractions are all around us, and how do we identify how fractions are used in everyday things. |
